Art: Closeup of a face.

The eyes do not do justice to real eyes.
I should have drawn this vertically and framed it after the fact. If you were to rotate this, you would see her (I assume it’s a her, but you can make your own mind up differently) face has some crookedness to it. But for someone who does not like to draw people because they either come out cartoon or wrong, this isn’t my worst effort by far.
The hair was at-best a perfunctory effort. I redid the mouth entirely. My layers for the image are a bad mess, which made revisions a bit tough at times, and I opted not to make others (like fixing the crooked parts) because of how much I’d have to tweak.
On the other hand, I drew the parts of the face in grayscale and used layer blending to add the color, which was an interesting and successful test. The only exception was the irises, which I drew in green but decided to filter into the kind of gray you see.
