Think the ladder should have gone to the top.
I decided I wanted to try to draw using ugly, jagged lines. And it mostly came out. I had to use some straight lines for the cross-braces, and for the shadows, but I still like the overall effect.
One thing I did not get right was the square-circle junction at the bottom of the tank itself. But that’s okay.
